I’m Jodie and I’m so glad you’re here. You’ve found (or have been asked to find–thank you) my little piece of the world wide web, so let me introduce myself.
I’m a full-time mother to four kids under ten and I’m a wanna-be master gardener. Gardening is quiet work and plants don’t talk back–what’s not to love? I hate having my picture taken, but I do enjoy writing. And organizing. My motherhood moments that make me the most proud (alliteration, holy cow) are the ones in which I’m truly present with my kids–teaching, playing board games, going for walks–pretty much anything other than pushing toy cars around on the floor or playing with dolls. I’m not crafty. I don’t listen to anything current on the radio, and up until several days before my blog went live, I wasn’t on any social media–at all. There, now don’t I sound like fun? Haha. 😉
What I lack in “fun-ness” I make up for in “passionate-ness.” I’m especially passionate about things that have to do with my kids and my role as a mother. Passionate enough, that after six years and many mistakes later, I’ve developed a family chore system (detailed in our new book) that has become quite a hit. So, here we are going live to reach a bigger audience. You and yours.
Household chores, life skills, financial responsibility, failures, successes, and every moment in between. You’re in the right place.
